iPhone out of date already

Just an hour or so before US stores opened their doors to the iPhone horde, readying themselves to buy a slow, 2G mobile phone, here in the UK we were slowly learning that the speedy 3G version is about to be announced and will arrive in Europe first. Smug? Me?

I really don't see all the hype over it. I just bought the new SE w850i, for €50 with the basic 5.99 p/m 100mb broadband data package. It is a brilliant handset, 3G, great screen res, it can have a 8gb memory stick duo (I got 1gb with phone), built in radio, mp3/mp4 player, msn messenger installed, 2 mega-pix camera, video and a bundle of features. I have already used my mobile apps with it and I can not fault it. I will most definitely not be spending €7 to 900 for the new iPhone.
